Ragley Hall



Ragley is the Family home of the 9th Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford, seat of the Conway-Seymour family. Designed in 1680 by Robert Hooke, inventive genius, friend of Sir Christopher Wren and rival of Sir Isaac Newton, Ragley is one of the earliest and loveliest of England's great Palladian Houses.

Enjoy a memorable and relaxing day wandering unhurriedly through 27 acres of delightful, ever changing gardens within the 400 acre Parkland designed by Capability Brown.

Children love the famous Ragley Adventure Playground with 3D Maze and the (late and the Lakeside Picnic area.

The House, Gardens and Stables

View the fabulous collection of treasures from a bygone age, marvel at James Gibb's elegant Baroque plasterwork and Graham Rust's stunning mural; "The Temptation".

The Lakeside area is ideal for Picnics, or you can grab a snack from Bodgers Cabin where cakes and ice creams are also available.

A visit to the 18th Century Stables is not to be missed the Carriages and collection of Equestrian memorabilia can be found.

The Adventure Playground and Woodland Walk

Let the children burn off their energy in the 3D Maze, on the slides, climbing frames, trampolines and swings! A trip around the Woodland Walk in the Park is an ideal way to see the wildlife and take in Ragley's splendid scenery!

Do not miss the fascinating Jerwood Sculpture Collection in the gardens, parkland and woodland.
