One of the largest commercial art galleries in Europe, The Art Works Galleries is a dynamic addition to the region offering five spacious galleries all under one roof - it is an innovative space to see, buy, display, enjoy and talk about art.
The gallery displays a cross section of work from over 70 regional artists every month, displaying everything from fine art and contemporary sculptures to a number of design led pieces, such as jewellery and home furnishings in the gallery shop.
As well as showcasing an array of artwork the gallery also offers a café area serving refreshments and cakes and an interactive area where visitors can leave messages for individual artists.

The Art Works Galleries is situated in Ouseburn - Newcastle's
cultural quarter, five minutes walk from NewcastleGateshead quayside and less than ten minutes from Newcastle's city centre. We are accessible Manors Metro and the Lime Street QuayLink bus stop. Bus numbers 6B, 12, 22, 39, 40, 62, 63, 106, 301, 302 also stop right outside the gallery. In addition there is amble on-street and off-street parking areas adjacent to the gallery. |
