Howbeck Lodge, is a working family farm, where guests can view the horses, cows, sheep, goats. Feed the chickens and collect eggs.
All food is locally sourced where possible and cooked to perfection in our Aga. The residents lounge is comfortably furnished to a high standard with a log burning stove for the cooler nights, bedrooms are not ensuite but guests will not be disapointed, with fluffy bathrobes, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, homemade biscuits and color TV.
Howbeck is ideally situated for exploring the lake District, Hadrian's Wall and the Solway Coast whether you are travelling by car, walking or cycling.
We are on the Cumbrian way walk.
Boots, rucksacks, jackets can all be warmed or dried overnight for a fresh comfortable start in the morning, cycles can be stored in our locked garage overnight.
You can be assured of a warm welcome at Howbeck - our visitors book speaks for itself.

Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
Bed & Breakfast: £25.00 per person per night. Single Occupancy (when available): £30.00 per person per night. Children: are charged £1.00 per year of life. Packed lunches: £5.00. Evening Meal: £15.00. |

Leave motorway at junction 41, follow B5305 toward Wigton for approx 7 miles, turn left at the first sign for Hesket Newmarket, follow this road for approx 3 miles, through village call Millhouse, for a further mile Howbeck Lodge is on left just before you enter Hesket Newmarket. |
