Trebles Cottage is situated in the lovely South Hams village of Kingston, which is on the coast, neighbouring Bigbury and Ringmore to the East.

Trebles is an old village house in the Georgian style - local historians say it was built in 1801.

The towns of Kingsbridge and Modbury are close by and The Dolphin Inn, a famous 16th Century pub, is five minutes walk away.

We have three guest bedrooms on the 1st floor, all of which have en-suite bathrooms; they have all been freshly decorated and are light and airy with South facing windows.

We have recently installed new LCD TVs in all rooms with Freeview Digital. Each room has coffee and tea making facilities.

Downstairs is traditional, with slate and wooden floors.

There is a separate dining room and an adjoining walled patio, with table and seating outside.

We offer a very informal and friendly style and are very happy to fit in with guests' requirements, with regard to breakfast-timings, or anything else within reason.

We pride ourselves on our cooking and are delighted to cook anything from a full English breakfast with local produce, to a more lightweight Continental affair, or just cereal and toast if preferred.

All guests have their own front door and room keys, to enable them to come and go as they please.

We have ample off road parking.

We are dog lovers ourselves and are happy to accommodate a dog downstairs were possible. This must be discussed and agreed with us before booking.

We are less than a mile from one of the most beautiful estuaries in South Hams the Erme Estuary and Wonwell Beach.

A stretch of white sand leading to beautiful clear water, the Erme Estuary is completely natural and unspoilt; therefore not the place to go if you would like something more lively.

Bigbury-on-Sea is five minutes away by car and Salcombe a further ten minutes.

The Coastal Path runs past the Erme Estuary and is easily accessible on foot from Trebles Cottage.

The Dolphin Inn, a well-known 16th Century pub, is five minutes walk away.
