The Adelphi is a charming Victorian town house, situated across from the lovely Fir Gardens, where resident proprietors Martin and Ellen offer an informal friendly home from home, in which you can relax and enjoy yourself, whether you stay one night or two, a short break or longer.

The Adelphi was taken over approximately 16 months ago by the current owners, who have during this time carried out many improvements and sympathetically restored and retained, many of the original features of the house.
The furniture and furnishings have been chosen from the Victorian era to be in keeping with the house.

The bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and are kept meticulously clean.

There is a variety of rooms, one of which is the four poster room which can be booked for that special occasion. Champagne, chocolates, flowers, can be ordered to make your occasion even more special.
