Welcome to Netherdene our quaint and homely bed & breakfast set in its own beautiful garden in the Lake District National Park. Located in the peaceful hamlet of Troutbeck, opposite the local inn, Netherdene offers real lakeland hospitality.
Whether you want a relaxing break, a well placed base from which to explore the Lakes, or a stopover on a coast to coast adventure our comfortable family friendly accommodation offers real value for money.
The house has a recently added sunroom from which guests can enjoy breakfast whilst looking at uninterrupted views of the local fells and a private lounge whereyou can relax after a long day walking with a glass of your favoured tipple.
We are situated halfway between Penrith and Keswick just off the A66. Penrith is at J40 of the M6 motorway and also benefits from excellent rail links. This prime location means we are ideally placed for the picturesque lake Ullswater with its famous steamers that run all year round.
A pleasant 4 mile walk will take you to the foot of Blencathra and its famous Sharp Edge, whilst Helvellyn and its equally famed Striding Edge are only a short drive away. Other popular Wainright walks are located in the surrounding areas of the beautiful market town of Keswick, situated on the shore of Derwent Water approximately 10 miles away.

Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
Low Season: Single: £30.00 Double/Twin: £27.50 per person. Triple: £27.50 per person. High Season: Single: £32.50 Double/Twin: £30.00 per person. Triple: £30.00 per person. All prices shown are per person per night, based on a bed and breakfast basis. A £2.50 per person supplement may be required for a one night stay. Please enquire about our out of season offers.
