Licensed accommodation in Mid Suffolk.
One large double room, en-suite bathroom, cot available.
Flindor Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 17th century timber framed house set in the heart of the peaceful village of Framsden; just off the A1120 tourist route, in rural central Suffolk, close to the
picturesque towns of Framlingham, Debenham and Woodbridge.
The accommodation is in the barn, which adjoins the rear of the property, providing total privacy; the beautifully appointed suite is accessed by your own hall, stairs and landing.
On the landing there is a drinks cabinet, which is kept well stocked; off the landing is a substantial bedroom, with a king size bed and several pieces of antique furniture.
There is also a television and a drinks fridge.
Across the landing is a magnificent bathroom, the centre piece being a Victorian cast iron roll top bath.
Breakfast, using local produce, is taken in the dining room in the main part of the house, accompanied by an inviting log fire in the winter months.
In the summer you may opt to take your breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the beautifully maintained garden.
We are happy to offer an evening meal for those who do not wish to drive, which will give you the chance to savour some of the magnificent wines from the owners' cellar.
A short walk from Flindor Cottage is the C17th village pub, The Doberman, offering fine ales, food and open fires.
