Clive and Julia would like to welcome you to The Old Coffee House, our licensed B&B.
The Old Coffee House is situated very close to Ashburton town centre and next to the beautiful St Andrew's parish church (ideal if you are attending The Two Moors festival held in October of each year).
Our rooms overlook the very pleasant grounds of the church and the historic houses of West Street.
Ashburton is the proud host of the increasingly popular Ashburton Blues Festival.
The Old Coffee House is situated in an excellent location as we are but a short walk from the Town Hall which hosts the major bands and are within easy walking distance of the fringe venues.
We are also not far from the Ashburton Cookery School.
As well as various antique shops, eateries and pubs, Ashburton also has its very own museum and is a delight to visit whilst in the town.
Ashburton, an ancient Stannary town situated within the Dartmoor National Park and just off the A38, is an ideal location from which to explore the moors and is equidistant from Exeter and Plymouth.

Directions | |
From Exeter:
From the A38 take the second turn off to Ashburton marked Pear Tree. Turn right at the top of the slip road and continue until you see a garage to your left. Turn right opposite the garage and this road will take you into Ashburton. You will see us as you come down the hill on the righthand side next to the church. The first turn off to Ashburton marked Lin Hay will take you through the town centre and there are quite often parked cars in East Street which can sometimes cause congestion. The Pear Tree junction avoides this. From Plymouth: Take the first turn off to Ashburton marked Pear Tree. Turn right at the junction. You will see a garage to your left, turn right opposite the garage and this road will take you into Ashburton. You will see us as you come down the hill on the righthand side next to the church. |
