Situated in the heart of the Peak District, Hawthorn Farm is a Grade II listed building dating from approximately 1590, retaining many original features including stone flag floors, oak beams and fireplaces.

The bedrooms are contained within the main house and a converted stable block and comprises of a mix of double, twin and family rooms, all en suite.

In addition there is also a two room suite with a shower room and separate WC ideal for a family or a small group.

All our rooms come with tea andcoffee facilities, colour TV, hairdryer, radio alarm and central heating.

With advanced bookings evening meals, packed lunches and afternoon teas are available, I have been a chef for over 20 years so we can provide for most peoples needs.

Originally the property was a farm and consequently is set in a large garden.

Within strolling distance there is a golf course and a driving range as well as the many outdoor activities on offer in the Peak District.

Buxton has many facilities available to visitors including bespoke shops, a large selection of high class restaurants and cafes, the Pavilion Gardens and Buxton Opera House.

Hawthorn Farm is a ten minute walk from the town centre.

There is a regular bus service both into town and further a field, available from the bottom of our drive.

Hawthorn Farm accommodation has been established for over 50 years and offers B&B with a choice of full English or Continental breakfast served between 7:00 & 9:30am.

We welcome families (cots and high chairs are available on request).
