Tinkers Furze's motto is "A Home from Home with a garden to die for" and it lives up to it, as our Visitors' book will show.
It is a period house situated in a quiet wooded conservation area in Fleet, yet close to town centre, shops and mainline station.
The bedrooms (all with en suites or private bathrooms) are spacious, two with their own balcony and views over the garden.
All rooms have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities, and hairdryers.
There is a large sitting room with a computer with broadband access, wireless broadband access also available in bedrooms.
It has a large well-maintained garden that visitors are welcome to use.
German and French languages spoken.
Tinkers Furze is an original Pool & Sons house dating from the 1920s.
It is a non-smoking household (smoking is permitted outside).
No pets are permitted.
It enjoys easy access to airports (35 minutes from Heathrow and one hour from Gatwick - traffic permitting)and taxis can be arranged to meet incoming flights.
London is a one hour train journey away, other attractions include Windsor, Winchester, National Trust properties like West Green House Garden, The Vyne, Hinton Ampner, Uppark are also an hour's (or less) car journey away.
We pride ourselves on our excellent breakfasts and beautiful surroundings.

How to find us
From Junction 4A on the M3 follow the signs to Fleet. Just over the railway bridge turn sharp right immediately after the Links Hotel into Elvetham Road. Follow the railway line for half a mile. Turn left into Church Road. Gough Road is the first turning on the right just past Fleet Hospital. Tinkers Furze is fourth house on the left. |
