Coedmor was built in the late 18th century as a "Gentleman's Smaller Residence".

Located in the Snowdonia National Park it stands in a delightful woodland setting overlooking the Mawddach Estuary with magnificent views across to the Cadair Idris mountain range.

Guests are welcomed by Leo and Mike with afternoon tea which is served in the conservatory.

Leo is an artist and is responsible for the elegant décor and furnishings of the house.

Many of his pictures hang on the walls.

There are two spacious bedrooms, a double and a twin.

Both are comfortably furnished to a high standard.

The guest lounge has access to the conservatory and gardens and there is an open hearth where log fires are lit on chilly evenings.

Guests have full use of the gardens which are the responsibility of Mike.

They have been beautifully landscaped by the previous owners and are a mixture of formal and informal areas that blend into the surrounding woodland.

There is a mountain stream and an old Victorian ice house.

Situated between Barmouth and Dolgellau, Coedmor is within easy reach of the many North Wales attractions.

It is an ideal centre for touring Snowdonia and is close to over five miles of stunning Blue Flag beaches.

There are many castles, historic sites and gardens to visit including the famous Portmeirion village.

We are also within easy reach of the many narrow gauge steam railways to be found in North and Mid-Wales, including the impressive Welsh Highland Railway.

With numerous and varied walks, quiet lanes for cyclists and stunning scenery there is something for everyone.
