AboutBritain.com is one of the most popular British Tourism sites on the Internet. The site is owned and operated by Excelsior Information Systems Limited - a privately owned limited company (reg no. 2620327) incorporated in 1991.
Where are you based?
AboutBritain.com is based near the Scottish Border town of Galashiels, about 30 miles south of Edinburgh.
Who am I booking with - AboutBritain.com or the campsite owner?
You book direct with the campsite owner using the contact details at the foot of each campsite's page. AboutBritain.com is not a booking agency, and we cannot take your Campsite or Holiday Park booking.
Do I pay a booking fee?
No - As you are booking direct with the campsite owners, there is no commission or booking fee to pay - so you get great value.
How do I know when the campsite has availability?
Simply contact the campsite owner either by phone or by email, using the buttons at the bottom of each campsite screen to obtain contact information. If you are not flexible in the dates of your holiday, are seeking dates at a popular time of year, or with short notice, you may want to email more than one campsite to find one that has availability the week you are looking for.
What if I need to cancel?
As you are booking direct with the campsite owner, you should check their cancellation terms individually before you book.
How do I ask a question about a campsite?
Use the Email button at the bottom of the individual campsite page to contact the owner by email - or press the Telephone button and get their phone number - they'll be delighted to answer any questions you have about their site.
