Hollambys is a small farm in the picturesque Weald of Kent, an area of outstanding natural beauty on the border of Kent and East Sussex in the South of England.
A warm welcome is offered with tea and home made cake on arrival.
There are three peaceful cottages, both tastefully decorated and furnished and are well equipped. The cottages are south facing, with pretty gardens and have lovely views. All on ground floor, parking plentiful and close.
Groombridge village is half a mile with two lovely pubs, a general store and a post office. Tunbridge Wells is 4.5 miles and Eridge station 1.5 miles. Very conveniently situated for visiting National Trust houses and gardens, London and the coast.

FROM M25/SEVENOAKS:
M25 to A21. A21 towards Hastings. After about 8 miles take exit to Tunbridge Wells (A26 Southborough/Tunbridge Wells). After a mile on A26, immediately after a garage on your left, take a right turn into Church Road which goes across the top of the village green. Follow the road, past the church on your right,straight on over the give way road markings to a crossroads (200 yards). Turn right at the crossroads. After a mile and a half turn right at the end of the road (going downhill). After a mile going uphill there is a pub called the George and Dragon on your left. Take the left turn just after the pub into Langton Road. Follow this road for 1� miles to another crossroads. The Hare pub is on your right. Turn right. Keep going for about another mile or so until you reach a mini roundabout at the bottom of a hill. Turn left. Go through past village shops and over steep railway bridge. About a 1/4 mile further on take a right turn which is just on a left hand bend (signposted Eridge Station). Hollambys is 1/4 mile up Eridge Road on the right hand side. You will pass Harrisons Rocks entrance. FROM TUNBRIDGE WELLS TOWN CENTRE: If you find yourself in the middle of Tunbridge Wells look for the A26 to Lewes. About 2 miles outside Tunbridge Wells, up a hill, you will see a right hand turn signposted Groombridge. Take this turning and follow the road for 1� miles. Turn left at Birchden Farm and at end of road turn right. We are 500 yards down on left hand side. FROM A26 (From Lewes or for anyone coming from south of Tunbridge Wells): A26 towards Tunbridge Wells. A few miles after Crowborough take left hand turn signposted Groombridge and High Rocks (about 1 mile after left turn signposted The Forstal). Follow road for 1� miles. Take left turn. At end of road turn right. We are about 500 yards down on left hand side. FROM GROOMBRIDGE VILLAGE: From Groombridge Place Gardens (B2110) go to the bottom of the hill to the mini roundabout. Take left turn. Follow road about 1/2 mile past a few shops and over a steep railway bridge. About a 1/4 mile further on take a right turn which is just on a left hand bend (signposted Eridge Station). Hollambys is 1/4 mile up Eridge Road on the right hand side. You will pass Harrisons Rocks entrance. |
