Penrice Cottages are located just a short distance from Oxwich Bay and many of Gowers other beautiful beaches. We have 15 holiday cottages set in and around the grounds of Penrice Estate. With the Towers planned for late 2009 which is the old gatehouse and will sleep 2 people.
There are approx 100 acres of parks and gardens surrounding Penrice Castle which guests are free to enjoy exploring. There is also a tennis court and a private lake for fishing on and a small rowing boat. The Estate owns Oxwich beach so all visitors get a car pass for free parking at the bay.
Each one of the cottages is different in style so there is usually a style to suit most of our guests. We have 200 year old cottages with beamed ceilings and more modern conversions with underfloor heating- and new to 2008 a barn conversion so plenty of choice.
A number of our properties also benefit from beautiful sea views of Oxwich Bay. There are plenty of places to walk and country pubs to visit.
All in all Gower and Penrice is an ideal choice for somewhere to stay for short out of season breaks, Christmas, New Year or your family school holiday.
