The Courtyard Helsby offers flexible, luxury accommodation set within a beautiful 200 year old cobbled courtyard. As a converted barn with oak beams and vaulted ceilings it offers a unique place to relax and unwind.

At The Courtyard, we are offering a concept which provides the business or holiday traveller with the convenience and flexibility of a hotel room by being able to stay for a minimum of just one night with the benefits of a spacious, self contained property which is fully equipped to provide you with a "home from home" experience.

Located just minutes from J14 M56 in the heart of the village of Helsby and a 5 minute walk from Helsby railway station makes it an ideal location with Chester being accessible in just 8 minutes and Manchester in 50 minutes by train.

  • The living area is cosy with a brown leather comfortable sofa and 2 leather armchairs

  • The separate dining area has an extendable oak table and four leather chairs, all cutlery, crockery and kitchen consumables are provided for your stay.

    Directions

    From J.14 M56:
    Take A5117 (A56) Helsby and Frodsham and continue on to A56 for approximately 2 miles. Passing shops on left hand side turn left into Lower Rake Lane by The Railway Inn and The Courtyard is 50 yards on the right hand side just past the pub car park.

    From J.12 M56:
    Take A56 to Frodsham and Helsby. After passing through Frodsham continue to Helsby. After passing Helsby High School on the right hand side continue until The Railway Inn and turn immediately right into Lower Rake Lane. The Courtyard is 50 yards on the right hand side just past the pub car park.

    By Train:
    Leave the station and follow up Station Road to the 'T' junction and turn left on to A56. Take the next left into Lower Rake Lane by The Railway Inn and The Courtyard is 50 yards on the right hand side just past the pub car park. (Less than 5 minutes walk)

    Buses stop at the top on the main road A56.
