Come and relax at Fellside The Lodge high on the slopes of Catbells with stunning views of Derwentwater and the Borrowdale Fells. Set in 8 acres of peaceful grounds, from the cottage there is direct access onto Catbells, and 10 minutes stroll down to Derwentwater. The derwentwater launch runs around the lake calling ast the jetty directly below the cottage 10 minutes walk away. The cottage is a perfect base for a lake District holiday.

The cottage sleeps 2/6 people, 1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms one with a ensuite shower room, there is also a large family bathroom, the farmhouse kitchen/dining room is well equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a spacious lounge with access straight onto the terrace with garden furniture and BBQ and great views of Derwentwater and the Borrowdale Valley. All the accommodation is on the ground floor.

The picturesque village of Grange is 1 mile away, Keswick is 5 miles away and accommodates all your needs.

Dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £20.00 per week.

Prices reduced when there is only 2 people staying in the cottage, (off peak season)

All heating and electricity is included so there are no extra costs to worry about. Bed linen also included.

A deposit of £100.00 per week is required, with your booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before your holiday. For first time guests a seperate cheque for £50.00 as a housekeeping bond is required along with your balance. This will be returned to you after your holiday when the cottage is left in a clean and tidy condition.
For bookings made 6 weeks of the holiday start date the full amount is required.

The price for the cottage varies through the season starting from £350.00 to £800.00.

There is a discount for 2 people staying through the off peak season.

Short breaks start at £120.00 for 2 nights for 2 people and £150.00 for 2 nights for 6 people




Directions

From the M6:
Leave the motorway at junction 40, A66 Penrith. Follow the A66 west towards Workington and the West/North Lakes, proceed to Keswick.
At Keswick take the second exit, following the signs for Borrowdale on the B5289. After 4 miles, turn right into Grange over the double bridge. Follow the road through the Village and carry on passed the Borrowdale Gates Hotel on your right.
Continue along this road, you will pass Manesty cottages on the left and then Low Manesty Caravan Park on the right.
Shortly afterwards on the left you will see a wooden sign on a tree saying Fellside Cottages. Turn sharp left and back on yourself into the driveway and go straight to the top, when you will see the Cottage.
