Brucehill Cottage is a comfortable and fully equipped self catering holiday cottage, set in a delightfully peaceful location near to the Port of Menteith on the edge of the Trossachs, close to Callander, Aberfoyle and Stirling.
The cottage can accommodate four to six people and is furnished and equipped to the highest standard.
There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds.
The living room has comfortable seating for six and includes a high quality double sofa-bed.
The fully equipped kitchen, also includes a dining area for six, and there is a modern bathroom.
Outside there is parking for two or more cars and lawned garden with stone barbecue plus garden furniture.
The cottage has full gas central heating and an electric stove heater in the living room.
Bed linen and towels are provided and electricity and gas are included.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
The cottage has a tranquil rural setting, near to the picturesque Lake of Menteith and is an ideal touring and sightseeing location, on the edge of the Trossachs, but still near to the main route from Loch Lomond to Stirling.
There are excellent restaurants nearby.
The local villages of Kippen and Buchlyvie, both have excellent pubs/restaurants and the Buchlyvie general store has long opening hours, as well as a wide range of wines and beers.

Directions from the M9 and Stirling:
Take junction 10 from the M9. Follow the brown signs towards Loch Lomond. Take the A811 west for about 12 miles. Turn right onto the B8034 at Arnprior. Continue for about 2 miles to Dykehead. Take the minor turning on the right after the red post box, next to the wooden "Ballangrew" sign. You will see the cottages on your right. Directions from Dumbarton/Erskine Bridge: Take the A82 from Dumbarton. After about 5 miles turn right onto the A811 at Balloch. Continue on the A811 for about 16 miles, following the signs to Stirling. Turn sharp left onto the B8034 at Arnprior. Continue for about 2 miles to Dykehead. Take the minor turning on the right after the red post box, next to the wooden "Ballangrew" sign. You will see the cottages on your right. |
