Property: 3829 | Greater London |

The Stables is a romantic hideaway in a leafy London village, just two minutes from a station and 30 minutes to the West End shops and London's theatres and museums. It is stylishly furnished and equipped and an ideal holiday venue for a couple or single visitor to London.
The Stables stands in the delightful walled garden of The Old Bakery, a 17th century former farmhouse and bakehouse at the centre of the historic village of Winchmore Hill, one of the earliest Quaker communities. The 'village', focused on a traditional village green, is now very much part of modern London, yet retains the atmosphere and past times. Around the Green are a choice of character pubs and cafess and a variety of restaurants, as well as food shops, antique and gift shops.
The elegantly furnished converted stables comprise a beamed living room with flagstone floor, a shower room and toilet, a small well equipped kitchen and a double bedroom in the eaves. Facilities include a TV, DVD and CD player and a washing machine.
In warm weather, guests enjoy peacful breakfasts or romantic evening drinks in the outdoor seating area within the Old Bakery's delightful, secluded, walled garden.
High quality bed linen and towels are provided. Welcome packs of food can be provided on request.
It should be noted that the bedroom is accessed via a ladder-style staircase (i.e. not quite a staircase and not quite a ladder) which is not suitable for those with limited mobility.
