This beautiful large holiday house is set in stunning surroundings on the shores of Loch Goil. It is the perfect place to join family and friends for a relaxing holiday, a celebration or to escape every day life and enjoy a tranquil break. It is a haven for anyone who loves the outdoors as there are amazing views, wonderful walks and outdoor activities galore.
Rhumhor Holiday lodge is a lovely Victorian house.
The drawing room is at the front of the house and has large comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove and wonderful loch and mountain views.
The very large family room has a full sized pool table, sofas, Satellite TV, DVD, Free Wi-Fi and a Wii games console. It has bay French windows, which lead out onto the decking area.
The dining room is the place where you can all eat together and enjoy formal or informal dining. The well equipped kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave with oven, 2 fridges and a freezer and a full sized dish-washer.
On this floor is a shower room and directly opposite is a double bedroom with a king sized four poster bed and charming fireplace.
There are four bedrooms on the first floor. There are two doubles, a twin bedroom and a single room off the stairs. Two of the rooms may have additional beds to make family rooms. All the rooms have lovely loch and-or mountain views. On this floor is a family bathroom with bath and shower.
A garden lawn runs along the front of the house and overlooks the loch and surrounding hills. At the side of the house next to the family room is another private lawned area with decking and a BBQ. Guests also have their own lochside lawn and beach.
There is guest parking at the side of the house.
The owners apartment is located to the rear of the property meaning that you always have someone to contact if you need any information and there is someone here to meet you and show you around the property.
While Rhumhor Holiday Lodge enjoys such a peaceful location at Carrick Castle, there is also a golf course, swimming pool, boat hire, fishing tackle hire-purchase, indoor bowling, restaurants and pubs all within the glen.
Day trips by car from Rhumhor can take in stunning Glen Coe, Oban (the gateway to the Isles), the architecturally distinguished town of Inveraray with its historic museum jail and fairytale castle, and the delightful fishing harbours of Tarbert and Crinan.
Rhumhor is perfect for a birthday celebration, a relaxing holiday or a combination of both!
