Tucked away next to the river Esk and on our private grounds, are Chainbridge Riverside Retreats.

We have seven cottages on this beautiful and secluded site which is located on the River Esk at Ruswarp, adjacent to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, an area of outstanding beauty. We are only two miles from the historic fishing port of Whitby and a 60 minute drive to the lovely city of York.

The cottages are either 1 bedroom for 2 people, 2 bedroom for 4 people or 3 bedroom for 4 adults and 2 children, some of our cottages take dogs.

The Boat Loft is a one bedroom cottage which has exclusive use of a hot tub on the riverside.

The cottages are comfortably furnished and well equipped, light and airy and have gas centraly heating. The majority with ground floor showers and master bedroom.

Off street parking, Garden, Children welcome, Wifi, Freeview TV, Golf nearby, Coast nearby, Walks nearby, Cycle paths nearby.

Ruswarp has a train station, a grocery shop, a fantastic butcher and a quaint country pub nearby.

We have an on site cafe and miniature steam railway, which open from Easter until end of October. There is rowing boat and canoe hire down the road and an indoor children's play area opposite.
