Wanney Cottage is a charming 19th century, former quarryman's cottage, situated high in the hills, with stunning views over open countryside and towards the Cheviot Hills. The cottage offers spacious accommodation for up to 4 people and has been renovated to retain its old charm but offering all modern facilities.

Downstairs:
Separate kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, 4 burner gas hob, electric oven and all kitchen gagets, utensils needed. Most basic items like herbs, cleaning materials are provided.

Living room with woodburning stove and dining area; LCD TV, DVD, Hifi and Sky freeview are provided.
Sun Lounge with stunning views and comfortable, double bedsettee for extra sleeping space and traditional rocking chairs.

Upstairs
1 double bedroom with king size bed, dressing table and ample storage
1 single bedroom with adult size bed.
Bathroom with shower over bath.

Wanney Cottage is situated in the hear of Northumberland, offering easy access to the many tourist attractions within the county: Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Water, Alnick Castle and Gardens, Rothbury and "Craig Side" Estate, Market Town of Hexham, and the Northumberland Coast with its empty, sandy beaches, picturesque fishing villages and castles.

There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities in the area, ranging from walking, rock climbing, water sports, golf, horse riding and fishing.

Coming from the South, turn right after the pub "The Gun" on your left and bus shelter on your right. Open metal farm gate and drive 250 meters along the farm track. Waney Cottage is the first cottage (end cottage) on your left.
