Westbrooke Barns offers luxury holiday accommodation in a three and half acres setting with a stream running through the grounds hidden deep in the heart of the rural Norfolk countryside.
Our cottages are located in West End, a small hamlet just 2 miles from the A47. We may be hidden but our central location enables you to explore many beautiful places of interest that Norfolk and the Suffolk borders offer you.
The cottages are three beautiful restored and converted Norfolk farm buildings which were originally built in 1827. Each cottage retains its own country charm, decorated to offer all modern amenities and equipped to a high standard.
STABLE COTTAGE: Sleeps 6 + baby/child
Farmhouse Kitchen/Breakfast, Lounge, Bathroom, 1 Double(ground floor), 1 Twin, 1 Twin bedroom suitable for children/teenagers
THE HAYBARN: Sleeps 4 + baby/child
Ground floor level
Kitchen, Lounge/Diner, Shower room, 1 Double and 1 Twin bedroom
THE HAYLOFT: Sleeps 2 + baby
First floor level
Kitchen, Lounge, 1 Double with ensuite shower
Each cottage is fully equipped with:
Welcome tray on arrival
Oil fired heating and Wood burner (not in Haybarn )
TV with free view box, DVD, Video, radio/CD player
Electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer (fridge with ice box in Hayloft)
Dishwasher (not in Hayloft)
Washing machine and use of tumble dryer
Iron & ironing board, laundry basket & pegs
Main bedrooms all have hairdryers. Stable cottage only has a TV

All bed lining and towels are provided (note - we don't supply beach towels).

Ball games can be played on one of the designated paddocks

Directions | |
Traveling on the A47 from Swaffham to Norwich:
A47 at the roundabout with McDonaolds, continue along A47 towards Dereham and Norwich. Approx 2 miles you will see a junction on your right to Necton. Turn right into this village. Just as you pass the garden centre, take the first turning on the left into St Andrews Lane. After about half a mile, take the next left turning into Ivy Todd Road. Continue along this road over the small hump back bridge, passing the brightly coloured cottage on your right. Continue along the road until you come to a sharp 'S' bend. On this bend is a junction to your right sign posted to Holme Hale and Ashill. Take this right turn and you will then see our sign on your right. Continue past the first entrance, the flint wall and buildings until you see the 2nd entrance with our sign, turn right and you have arrived! |
