Dalraddy Cottage is a luxury 2 bedroomed bungalow (converted from original barn and stables) situated in the grounds of Pottal Pool House on the edge of Cannock Chase, Staffordshire, itself an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The cottage is ideal for walkers or cyclists visiting Cannock Chase itself or as a base for the wide selection of local attractions - Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Shugborough Hall, Weston Park, The Potteries etc. The Chase Golf course is a few hundred metres away.
Animals currently residing here include four pet goats, 3 friendly dogs and 3 geese.
Dalraddy Cottage has solid oak floors throughout except for the kitchen and bathroom areas, which have ceramic tiled floors. It is double-glazed and well insulated and enjoys oil-fired central heating.
The large through lounge has a leather "chesterfield" 3 piece suite, TV, Video and additional electric basket fire. A pine bookcase contains a large selection of videos for all the family, and there are books and games to enjoy. There are large picture windows to the front and French windows leading to the rear patio area.
The fully fitted 'light oak' kitchen has an electric cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The cupboards are well stocked with all the usual requirements plus. There is a dining area with pine table and seating for four.
The double bedroom situated at the front of the cottage has a pine double bed and pine hand-built bedroom furniture (wardrobe, chest, bedside tables etc). A hairdryer is included too.
The fully tiled rear bathroom has a modern white suite consisting of bath with Miras shower over, toilet, basin, shaver point, and large heated towel radiator. In addition to the bathroom, there is also a separate toilet with wash hand basin at the front of the cottage.
The twin bedroom at the rear has twin pine beds, bedside cabinet, wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
The rear of the cottage looks out into the forest of Cannock Chase - local wildlife often visit the garden including squirrels, rabbits and woodpeckers - you may even be lucky enough to see a deer.
