This lovely garden flat is the perfect base for exploring the many wonderful attractions in Medway and Kent and also for excursions to London - only a 45 minute train ride away.
The flat has off-street parking and is quick and easy to get to, handy to the M2/M25. There are 4 railway stations within 10 minutes and a bus stop (for several services) 50 meters up the road.
The garden flat, spread over 2 full floors, is one of 2 flats in a character terrace property opposite parkland (with 2 good children's play parks and tennis courts) and with views of the River Medway, Rochester Castle and Cathedral from the back.
However the flat has more to offer than excellent location, it works really well - for families or small groups. Only recently renovated it is clean, light and spacious with central heating.
The large modern kitchen, which looks out to the deck and garden, is set up for family dining. So although the High Street of Historic Rochester, only 5 minutes walk, offers a wide variety of cafes and restaurants if you want dinner or perhaps a big breakfast at home it's no problem. The fully equipped fitted kitchen includes full size fridge/freezer, microwave, electric cooker and gas hob. There is also a washer/drier.
There is a separate lounge with TV and digibox. If you bring your laptop you are welcome to use the wireless broadband signal. You may also use the telephone to make calls to numbers starting 01 or 02, which are free with the package we have at the property. Any other numbers - mobile, 07, 08, 09, 123, 118 etc. should not be dialed from the property.
The family bathroom has a new suite and a great shower over the bath. There is a second toilet.
There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single in the main flat. The third bedroom, a double, is in the 'nanny flat' which has it's own shower and toilet as well as microwave, fridge, freezer and TV. The entrance to the nanny flat is through the main flat.
Out the back is a large decked area which leads on to a beautifully paved, landscaped garden - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of a busy day, or a safe place for children to play while you do something else.
Good quality duvets, bed linen and towels are provided.
Cot and high chair are available on request.

Rochester and Chatham train station are a 2-3 minute taxi ride. The cobbled high street of Historic Rochester is a 10 minute walk. The bustling modern town centre of Chatham is a 10-15 minute walk. New Road is a bus route with services to both Chatham and Rochester. |

The garden flat is available for £500.00 per week.
Short breaks are £85.00 per night with a minimum stay of 3 nights. A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking. |
Directions | |
The Medway towns are a bit of a maze and it is probably easiest just to head for Rochester and ask or print a map from Google or multimap etc. New Road is well known, from Rochester it is up Star Hill and left at the roundabout. We are 2 down from the Roffen Health Club.
