18 Puffin Way is a luxuriously furnished three bedroom, two bathroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac just two minutes walk from the safe and sandy beach of Broad Haven.
Accommodation
The house has been furnished to a very high standard by the owners with all mod cons - fully fitted kitchen with touch-sensitive hob, two large double bedrooms with king-size John Lewis beds and John Lewis bedding (brand-new for 2012), one en-suite shower room and a third bedroom with twin beds, bathroom with bath and shower, spacious lounge/diner with leather suite, flat-screen TV with Surround-sound with Sky freesat, DVD and hifi (including iPod docking for the surround-sound. There is parking for two cars and a garage for storing all your beach gear, wetsuits and surfboards etc. At the back of the garage is a utility room leading to the garden.
We have left a selection of books, toys, games, CDs and DVDs for you to enjoy if you can tear yourself away from the beach and the sea. We've also left a barbecue for those long hot summer evenings.
Internet access is available at the sea-front guest house for a small usage fee, or free at the Castle pub in Little Haven.
Local Area and Attractions
Broad Haven is a wonderful coastal village with a long stretch of golden sandy beach, gently shelving into the sea with a wealth of rock-pools around the edges. If you like traditional beach holidays or are a keen surfer, windsurfer, sea kayaker or sailor then this is the place for you. There are also many other safe and clean beaches within easy reach such as Newgale, Druidston and Little Haven.
Broad Haven has all the facilities you will need for your holiday - a lovely local pub serving traditional ales and pub food, a beach shop (wetsuit, surfboard, windsurf and sea-kayak hire and sales), fish and chip shop, Londis general store (selling everything you can imagine) and a delightful sea-front restaurant. There is also a 24 hour Tesco within a few miles, in Haverfordwest.
There are many towns and villages to visit including St. Davids with its magnificent cathedral, Solva with its pretty harbour and Dale - great for sailing. Fishguard and Tenby are also easily accessible.
There are coastal walks and spectacular views plus many other attractions within easy reach by foot, car and boat including beaches, islands with Puffin colonies, leisure parks, wildlife parks, bowling alley and indoor play area, cinema, golf, swimming and much much more.
