The Old Shippon & Churn cottage at Sambrook Manor Farm are set on the Shropshire/Staffordshire boarder.

The Old Shippon sleeps 8/10 in 4 bedrooms (2 double & 2 twins) and there is also a mezzine floor above the living room with sofa bed.Churn cottage sleeps 4 in a double & twin room.

Both cottages have fantastic open beams under floor heating and a well equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher & washing machine.

The Old Shippon has two lovely modern bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath & shower & Churn cottage has a wet room shower room. The spacious bedrooms are all on the ground floor and all have exposed beams and a modern decor.

The Old Shippon has a large living room downstairs and also a mezzanine upstairs room, both cottages look out on to the lovely open country side where the farms sheep & beef cattle graze and have their own private garden & patio area which is equipped with table, chairs, sun parasol & charcoal BBQ, and is a great place to watch the wildlife in the evening sun.

Fresh flowers a bowl of seasonal fruit and some fresh free-range farm eggs are in the cottage to welcome you along with crisp white linen sheets, cosy duvets & fluffy towels. All linen, heat & electricity are included in the price.

Sambrook is a lovely little village in between Newport & Market Drayton on the Shropshire/Staffordshire boarder making it an ideal location to visit both counties and many famous tourist attractions such as Ironbridge, Shrewsbury, the Potteries & Alton Towers.

We also have many fishing lakes & golf courses close by and great county pubs one of which is in the village and serves excellent home cooked meals. what's more it is within easy walking distance of Sambrook Manor holiday cottages

Standard Rates

£280.00 - £720.00 per week, depending on the cottage & time of year.


Short breaks (3 or 4 nights) taken at 2/3rd of the weekly rate.





Directions

From M6 (from South):
Exit junction 10a on to the M54, then exit the M54 at junction 3, on to the A41 Stay on A41 aprox 5 miles after the Town of Newport turn right at the cross roads sign posted for Sambrook. Go through village past the Three Horseshoes pub then fork left at Sambrook nursing home (sign posted Ellerton) and Sambrook Manor is situated third house on right (just round the corner)

From M6 (from North):
Exit junction 15 on to the A519 (Eccleshall), follow A519
through Eccleshall & Woodseaves and turn right on to the A41 at the roundabout (heading towards Whitchurch). After aprox 4 miles turn right at cross roads sign posted for Sambrook. Go through village past the Three horseshoes pub then fork left at Sambrook nursing home (sign posted Ellerton) and Sambrook Manor is situated third house on the right (just round the corner)
If you are using sat nav when you get into the village our postcode TF10 8AL sends you round the corner at the nursing home and up Danfords lane near the church this is wrong.
At the nursing home you need to bear left towards Ellerton and we are 3rd on the right.
