Property: 5889 | North Yorkshire |

The Old Granary is located in the pretty village of Gillamoor in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park approximately 3 miles north of Kirkbymoorside were there is an excellent 18 hole golf course.
The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the magnificent scenery of the moors on foot, bike or car. Many walks start at the door. The Royal Oak is a delightful country pub with an excellent menu, again only moments away.
The Old Granary is a very attractive stone built former granary, retaining many original old beams. Some of the old beams in the bedrooms date back to the 1600’s and are reputed to be ships timbers hauled over the moors from Whitby. We welcome dogs with responsible owners. The Old Granary is a no smoking cottage.
The cottage has a large sitting room with a log burning stove set on a raised stone plinth. There are exposed beams with a pew styled window seat. A TV with DVD player is installed along with a CD system. The Breakfast Kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, washer dryer, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and TV.
The main bedroom contains a new King sized bed, the second contains twin beds which can be converted to a super king bed. The luxury bathroom has been fitted with a ROCA suite that includes a corner bath with a power shower over, again the beams are exposed. To the front is a good private garden with a parking space. The property has oil fired central heating and is fully double glazed.
