Welcome to The Old Cottage, Langton Hill. Situated on a working arable farm 2 minutes from the Lincolnshire Limewoods Nature Reserve in Chambers Farm Wood, the cottage is the perfect location for a peaceful holiday. Well away from public roads, with wonderful views, birds, butterflies and meadow flowers, this is the ideal place for walkers or those who just wish to sit back and relax.
Once two farm cottages, The Old Cottage was fully refurbished for Summer 2009 with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom, central heating, double glazing and an open fire.Child and dog friendly, it has a large, sunny garden where children can safely play.
Sleeping 6 in comfort with two kingsize bedrooms and one twin room (plus cot), the cottage is spacious, warm and comfortable and suitable for year-round use.
The Old Cottage is about 12 miles from the historic City of Lincoln with its beautiful Cathedral and famous Christmas Market; close to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within easy reach of the coast.
Other attractions in the area include the seal colony at Donna Nook in November and December; blue flag beaches at Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea; antique centres at Horncastle and Hemswell; aviation Centres at Coningsby, home of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight & East Kirkby; racing at Market Rasen; motor racing at Cadwell Park; the National Golfing Centre at Woodhall Spa and much more. Something for everyone!

November to end of March 2011 £310 per week. (Except Christmas, New Year & Easter £450). 10% reduction for 2 persons for a full week. Short breaks subject to availability £200 - £300. |

By Air
Humberside Airport 20miles. By Rail Lincoln Station 12 miles By Road Directions to Langton Hill Farm, Langton by Wragby from Lincoln. Take A158 (Skegness) to Wragby then through Langton by Wragby. After leaving Langton, continue around sharp bend on A158 followed by half a mile straight. Take next R ( Hoop Lane) signposted Bardney. Take 2nd L (approx 1 mile) opposite a pair of semis. Langton Hill is the red farmhouse at the top of the hill and The Old Cottage is further down the yard to the right. |
