Heights View, a detached bungalow, is ideal accommodation for a walking holiday and for lovers of the lakes. It lies in extensive landscaped gardens, opposite the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway Station and the Lakeland Motor Museum.
5 miles from the Lakeland market town of Ulverston and 3 miles from the foot of Windermere, it is an ideal base for touring the southern lakes.
Heights View accommodates 7 people and offers 2 travel cots and high chairs for babies. An additional 2 people can be accommodated on a single stool bed and a pullout single bed, for an additional £8 per person per night.
The bungalow is very spacious and the accommodation is to a high standard, offering all the comforts of a modern home.
1 king with en-suite shower room, 1 Triple, and a bunk room. In addition there is a pull out single bed, 1 stool bed in the family lounge, 1 large main bathroom with shower over bath, a second lounge, dining kitchen, conservatory with additional dining area.

The landscaped terraced gardens offer two patio areas. The driveway and car port can accommodate 4 cars.
Haverthwaite Steam Railway, Lakeland Motor Museum, South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Aquarium of the Lakes and Grizedale Forest Visitor Centre are all within easy reach. The historic village of Cartmel has a priory as well as the famous racecourse.
You can catch a train from the Haverthwaite Steam Railway Museum to Lakeside, visit the Aquarium of the Lakes, or take a steamer across Windermere to Bowness or Ambleside.
The local pub, the Angler's Arms, serves excellent food and real ale and is only 100 yds away. Food , including hot breakfasts, can also be purchased at the Haverthwaite Steam Railway across the road.
