Lovely spacious family dining kitchen with original oak beams and cosy Rayburn stove. TV, DVD player. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, gas cooker, toaster, cafetiere.

Cosy, comfortable living room with beams, window seats and sandstone walls. TV, VCR, DVD, multi-fuel stove,small library of books, DVDs, CDs,children's games.

Lovely bathroom with electric shower, wasbasin and WC.

Staithes is ideally situated for relaxing seaside holidays, coastal and moorland walks, fossil-hunting - and taking a change of pace in this unspoilt picturesque village. Unless you've been before, you won't have seen anything like it.

See the Captain Cook Heritage Centre, the antiques and art galleries, the old-fashioned gift shops. Try the local bistros and tea-shops. Sample the real ale and good food at the three traditional local pubs.

Staithes is also a great base from which to explore the area: the North York Moors Steam Railway, Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay, the Moors Danby Centre, the Cleveland Way National Trail, Goathland, Beck Hole and many pretty villages.
