Things to do in Leigh, Dorset

Leigh is a small village near Sherborne in Dorset, with a population of around 500 people.

The village has an attractive parish church - the church of St Andrew.

Leigh is unlikely to be a tourist destination for most people, unless you have family connections in the area, or are passionately interested in ancient earthworks:

There is a field near the village with several grassy mounds, which locals call the "Miz Maze". Local folklore suggests it may have a connection with ancient witchcraft.

Leigh also boasts a village cross which is a Scheduled Ancient Monument - you can find the cross in the centre of the village.
