Luston is a small hamlet,it doesn't have a church. The church is 1 mile away along Eye Lane.

The school was at Moreton (about 1.5 miles away). There was a village shop (kept by Mrs Goldsmith, who died many years ago) there was an AA enamel plate on a building opposite the shop telling how far to London and Leominster Luston was-and still is - a place of peace and thoughtfulness.

Many houses are half timbered but it doesn't figure on the Black and White village Trail. The church and Luston are a peaceful place in deepest English countryside, which deserve to be visited, but also need to be respected. It is a reminder of what England used to be.

You should visit the church, it will remind you of what England has lost, in men and honour.
