Things to do in Slindon, West Sussex |
Slindon is on the South slopes of the Downs and mostly in the care of the National Trust. Charming and unspoiled, with brick and flint houses there are walks through the surrounding beech woods and open downland.
Between late August and late November magnificent pumpkins can be purchased at the 'Pumpkin House', in Top Road which has an international reputation. Hardy walkers can stay in the 'stone tent' at Gumber Bothy.
