Things to do in Swanmore, Hampshire

Swanmore is a small village set amid beautiful countryside in rural Hampshire. It is an area which was originally inhabited in 1894, before becoming a separate parish from Bishops Waltham. It's a pleasant place with a good atmosphere and friendly people.

The centre has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The village has a number of facilities including two schools, village hall, community centre, pubs, various shops, a Methodist church and sports clubs and facilities. The cricket club is located in the recreation ground which also includes football facilities and a childrens' play area.

The village has good travel links to both Southampton and Portsmouth and it also has good road and rail links to London.
