Things to do in Wendover, Buckinghamshire

Wendover is a picturesque town, one of its jewels being the Red Lion, whose former guests include Oliver Cromwell and Robert Louis Stevenson. The focal point of the town is the Clock tower, built in 1842.

Nowadays, Wendover is famed for its many culinary delights, boasting a fine array of places to eat from around the world.

The scenery from nearby Coombe Hill and Wendover Woods is amongst the most spectacular in the Vale. Market Day is Thursday.
