Pennywell Farm and Wildlife Centre |
There’s something for all visitors at Pennywell Farm - especially the little ones!
Rides at Pennywell Farm
There are 4 main rides in the Farm: for older kids (and adults!) there is the Red Rocket Ride and the Run Rabbit Go Karts; the whole family can enjoy the views from the Tractor & Trailer rides; and for the little ones there’s the Rainbow Railway.
The Red Rocket Ride blasts around the show-ground for kids aged 4 - 94, and the Run Rabbit Go Karts are pedal-powered karts for kids and adults over 8.You can also play Crazy Golf at Pennywell, which is included in the ticket price.
Animals at Pennywell Farm
The main attractions at Pennywell Farm are the animals themselves - with small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and the famous miniature pigs, there are plenty of animal cuddles to go round!
There are also shire horses, donkeys, alpacas, deer and even an international poultry collection - animals too numerous to name them all here!
New Activities Every Half Hour
There are up to 20 different activities available at Pennywell Farm every day - a different activity begins each time the bell rings, on the half hour!
The activities can include: pond dipping, egg collecting, a falconry display, treasure hunts, ferret racing, meet the owls and many more...The miniature pigs also take part in a race every afternoon - which pig is your favourite? Of course all of the kids want to take part in the pets tea time, and bottle feeding! There’s even a chance to have a go at goat milking!
Naturally each day is different and not every activity takes place every day, but the staff try to make sure the children’s favourites such as piggy cuddles, bottle feeding, pig racing and falconry take place, so that their little guests are not disappointed.
Cafe and facilities
Henny Penny's Cafe is the main licensed restaurant which serves hot and cold meals, snacks, cream teas and drinks.
There are also Noah's Barn and Piglet's Ice Creams kiosks where you can pick up take away drinks, snacks and ice creams.
There are lots of picnic tables where you can enjoy your own picnic - both in the open and undercover, should the weather not be what you would wish!
