This spectacular 7 mile forest drive is set amongst rolling hills and green forests with 7 car parks to stop at.
At the foot of the forest drive is the temporary Visitor Centre, which always has a warm welcome for you. You can find information on walks, cycling activities and other things to do in the area along with refreshments. Opening shortly will be a new visitor centre with gift shop and cafe.
Nestling alongside the banks of the Nantcarn stream is the 3 star Visit Wales/AA rated Cwmcarn Forest Drive caravan and campsite. Accommodation is available for up to 24 caravans or tents at the site, as well as electric hookups and modern shower and toilet facilities and chemical waste disposal.
This is the perfect base for a touring holiday for the South Wales valleys. Cwmcarn offers a tranquil setting with all the expected facilities of a well run campsite.
New events programme will be running in 2008 to include guided walks and children's events.
