    Penhale Caravan and Camping Park, Fowey, Cornwall overlooks the beautiful St Austell Bay.

    Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Penhale is the nearest caravan and camping park to Fowey on the Fowey side of the river, just 1.5 miles west from the centre of the town.

    This small, family-run park offers you relaxation in pleasant surroundings. There is no overcrowding and there is no noisy club or bar. Penhale has a small shop providing basic essentials as well as a gas cylinder exchange facility - Calor Gas and Camping Gaz.

    A small games room has a pool table and table tennis. Penhale is close of sandy beaches, many lovely walks both coastal and inland and the famous Eden Project.

    Static Caravans:
    There are just 14 static caravans of which 9 are for hire.
    All holiday homes are fully serviced and self-contained. Each has mains electricity, mains water, toilet, shower, gas cooker and fire, refrigerator and colour television.

    Type F's have electric heaters. Prices include gas and electricity. Each bed is provided with a duvet and cover. You will need to bring with you sheets and pillow cases and towels. Sheets and pillow cases can be hired, see booking form for price.

    Directions
    Travel to Exeter on motorway and take A30
    to Bodmin (near the end of the motorway).

    This route is a bit quicker than via Plymouth.
    Follow letters below as on map.

    A. Leave A30 dual carriageway on exit
    signposted to Lostwithiel and Bodmin.

    B. Turn left - signposted to Lostwithiel,
    Lanhydrock and A38.

    C Turn left - signposted to A38 (Liskeard)

    D At roundabout turn left on to the A38
    signposted to Liskeard.

    E Take 2nd right-hand turn after roundabout
    (not far) signposted to Lostwithiel,
    Lanhydrock. (This is now a much smaller road).

    F At mini roundabout turn left signposted to
    Fowey and Lostwithiel. Follow this road
    all the way to a T-junction. Halfway along
    at Sweetshouse the B3268 turns left to
    Lostwithiel but stay on the main road
    which now becomes the B3269.

    G. Turn right on the A390 (at the T
    junction) signposted to St Austell.

    H. Turn left on B3269 signposted to Fowey.

    Follow this road until you reach a roundabout.
    Turn right on A3082 signposted to St Austell
    and you will find Penhale 600 yards on the left.

    OR Travel to Plymouth and after crossing the
    Tamar River follow the A38 (to St Austell).
    Turn left at Dobwalls on A390 to Lostwithiel.
    About 1 mile west of Lostwithiel turn left
    on the B3269 and follow route as above
