Things to do in Newtown Linford, Leicestershire |
Newtown Linford is set against a backdrop of the Charnwood woodlands, making it a very photogenic village with its thatched dwellings and timbered style buildings. It lies alongside the tiny River Lin, a tributary of the Soar, which flows through the village and into Bradgate Park.
Close to the entrance to Bradgate Park, All Saints Church dates from the 14th century and has a modern stained glass window depicting Lady Jane Grey, born at nearby Bradgate House.
