Leicestershire

Cropston is a picturesque village, close to the late 19th century reservoir, which takes its name from the village.

The elaborate Victorian engineering undertaken to provide Leicester with piped water can be viewed at the Severn Trent Visitor Centre. An alternative southern entry to Charnwood Forest, and the area is popular with walkers.
