Things to do in Syston, Leicestershire |
In Victorian times Syston was a busy cattle dealing town. There is still evidence of the late 18th century development in its conservation area around the parish church of St. Peter.
The town has a thriving modern shopping centre and there are still some surviving framework knitters cottages and the cruck framed Free Trade Inn retains its distinctive thatched roof line.
